This workshop explores TikTok, Reddit, Discord, and Twitch as powerful social media tools for facilitating interactions among folklorists and for teaching others about folklore. This workshop will feature a panel of experts who will share their experiences and insights on using the use of these platforms for teaching, researching, and sharing folklore. Through interactive sessions, participants will learn how to leverage the unique features of each platform to engage with a wider audience, create compelling content, and foster meaningful interactions with other folklorists. This workshop invites audience members to bring personal electronics to receive direct feedback and support from organizers.
